Explosion in Srinagar's press colony

At least four persons, including a photo-journalist, were injured when militants hurled a hand grenade on the residential quarters of the ruling Peoples' Democratic Party candidate from Baramulla parliamentary constituency, Nizamuddin Bhat, in Srinagar's Press Colony early Monday evening.

Bhat was not in the house when the attack took place.

Srinagar's Press Colony houses offices of several newspapers
, official sources said.

Photo-journalist Habibullah Naqash of The Asian Age and three others were injured in the explosion.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. Their
condition was stated to be stable.
