Lalu postpones visit to Srinagar

Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, who was to visit Srinagar on Saturday postponed his trip as he was pre-occupied with some functions in Bihar.

It was earlier announced that Yadav would visit Srinagar to meet the bereaved family of senior railway engineer Sudhir Kumar Pundir who was killed by militants along with his brother two days ago.

He may visit the valley in a day or two, the ministry said.
