Arun Prakash to be new naval chief June 01, 2004 19:43 IST Vice Admiral Arun Prakash will be the new chief of the Naval Staff succeeding Admiral Madhvendra Singh who will retire on July 31. Prakash has been Commandant of the National Defence Academy (1997-99) and served as Chief of Personnel at Naval Headquarters (1999-2001).
