President relaunches website

A P J Abdul Kalam on Sunday relaunched the website of the President of India, which has been restructured and redesigned to include some new sections.

The site - www.presidentofindia.nic.in - will now have a special children's corner, which would enable students to ask questions to the President, an official statement from the President's secretariat said. Citizens also can write directly to the President through the website.

A separate press release section has been included with dates and details and there is a media gallery where latest photographs are stored and displayed.

Lectures and speeches have been made available in different formats like zip, modularized, PowerPoint slides and PDF.

The various sections included in the redesigned website are - The President of India, Rashtrapati Bhavan, former Presidents, address to the nation, Parliament address, banquet speeches, general speeches by the President.

Sub: Links are dead on President's website

Seems.... no one has checked President's website before re-launching...most of the links are dead.
