Eleven labourers were killed and three injured in a landslide on the narrow road leading to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir early on Friday.

The incident occurred at Dabbamore, about 45 km from Jammu. The labourers, engaged in road construction, were asleep in a tent, official sources said.
 
The victims were from the Ramban area in Doda district, they said. The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
