Fog disrupts air, rail services in Delhi

Dense fog continued to envelop the national capital disrupting air and rail traffic although the night temperature rose marginally.

The night temperature was recorded at 6.7 degrees Celsius, 1.7 degrees higher than the previous night. Visibility ranged between 100 and 300 metres leading to rescheduling or diversion of a number of flights. Rail traffic was also affected.
