LoC fencing to go on: Fernandes

December 17, 2003 19:43 IST

Defence Minister George Fernandes on Wednesday indicated that fencing along the Line of Control would continue despite Pakistan's protest.

"It is their business to protest. It is our business to do our work," Fernandes said in Bangalore.

He denied reports that more troops were being engaged along the LoC in an effort to block infiltration of terrorists from Pakistan during winter. "Nothing of that nature."
