Apex Fare from Jet Airways

Apex or advance purchase fares are special fares valid on economy class on specified sectors. They are much lower than  normal fares.

Jet Airways Apex Fare Details

Under new conditions notified to travel agents by Jet Airways, tickets must be purchased at least seven days in advance, only round trip and circular journeys will be permitted; one-way journeys will not be permitted; a minimum of seven days must elapse between the first and the last flight coupon, including every intermediate point; flight coupons must be used in sequence and rerouting will not be permitted. All sectors must be confirmed at the time of reservation and open-dated or waitlisted sectors are not allowed on tickets.

Indian Airlines

Indian Airlines has modified its Apex fare scheme and introduced two levels of fares. The scheme will be valid up to March 31, 2004.

One level is dubbed 'D-7.' The other is dubbed 'D-21.'

D-7: Tickets purchased up to 7 days prior to departure.
D-21:  Tickets purchased up to 21 days prior to departure.

Indian Airlines Apex Fares under D-7 and D-21

Change from Apex fare to normal fare: Passenger holding an Apex fare ticket will be permitted to make a change from Apex fare (either D 7 or D 21 category) to normal fare up to one hour before departure on the date of travel provided:

• Passenger is re-booked on the first available flight of Indian Airlines for the same sector and the ticket is re-issued on the normal fare with clear remarks 'Original ticket issued on Apex Fare.' Non-Refundable/Non-Re-routable/Non-Endorseable.
• Cancellation Charge/Re-Issuance Fee will not be applicable.

Identification: Identification will be required during the entire leg of journey using any of the following: Passport/ Driving License/Voter's ID card/PAN card. The card number will be mentioned on the ticket. Passenger must carry the same identification at the time of travel.
