Director Ram Gopal Varma finally has something to say about Shah Rukh Khan's next film Ra.One. The director feels it makes no difference if it has been directed by Anubhav Sinha or Karan Johar, the audiences will go for it anyway.

'The most awaited Ra.one s drctor has only a negative record..whether Ra.one is directed by anubhav sinha or karan johar ppl wil still see. The director of Tashan touted as yashraj ki aag is directing Dhoom 3 ..if Aamir makes evn hs dog a director I wl b 1st in queue fr a ticket,' he tweeted.

According to him, the star is the captain of the ship and not the director. 'Bollywood stars have completely shattered the myth of the director being the captain of a ship..a star is truly the only captain of the ship. Whether its abhinav or anees or siddique or sohail or arbaaz no matter whoever the director is salmans films become superhits anyway,' he continued.

It doesn't matter that Ramu is a director himself. He still feels directors aren't important anymore. 'If I myself as a director m nt caring bout who's directing these films nd m running 2 the theatre what do the audience care about directors? I always blvd tht directors importance hs bn always thr only bcos stars had an illusion of their importance nd so producers followd the same,' he added.

He adds that well-known directors should be kicked out of films. 'But nw that illusion has been broken the rest shud wake up nd kick the high flying directors out nd make that money also fr themselves. If a top star wrks wth a new director the collections wil be same nd if a top director works with a new actor there will be no collections. Jst wanted 2 prove a point tht whatever money that's paid to the director is a waste on the project bcos audience are going 2 cme in anyway,' he concluded.

Ra.One is just a week away from release and Shah Rukh Khan is getting more anxious and sleepless.

'All nighter mixing. no sleep. off to delhi..ludhiana...will miss my boyz &girlz post the film release. Making dreams harder than seeing them. Have heard sleep deprivation helps in mind expansion. At this rate even my swollen head will not be able to contain the increase,' he tweeted.

Meanwhile, his friends have started counting the days to its release on October 26.

Fardeen Khan asked fans to buy the film's soundtrack, and not download it. 'The Ra.One OST is incredible. Truly a new sound. Buy it and don't download it. Piracy is stealing,' he tweeted.

Ra.One's director Anubhav Sinha is wondering if his hard work of four years is really coming to an end. 'Is it ALL coming to an end or what??? End of four relentless, indefatigable, pertinacious years. earned, learned, gained lost so much :-)' he tweeted.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's baby shower was a grand affair at the Bachchan's residence yesterday but husband Abhishek is already back to work.
