Back when she was in school, Rosie Huntington-Whitely was routinely teased by her classmates for her flat chest, her 'poncey' double-barrelled surname, and the fact that she had a massive pair of lips.

Well, those full lips -- that have now reached dramatically pillowy proportions -- are Rosie's trademark now, at 24, as the world wakes up to the sight of her. She makes her movie debut in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, one of the biggest releases this summer.

Born in England on 18 April 1987, Rosie was born and raised in England. Nicknamed Miss Bigmouth because she talked constantly, Huntington-Whitely was also, in a startling sign of things to come, voted Girl Most Likely To Become A Supermodel at the age of 13, when she suddenly shot up several inches.

At the age of 16, Rosie faced the cameras for the very first time, posing for a Levi's commercial.

In 2006, Rosie Huntington-Whitely began modelling for lingerie giant Victoria's Secret. In 2009, she starred in a rather sensational advert for another lingerie icon, Agent Provocateur. Eyebrows had been raised.

In late 2009, Rosie earned her wings. She officially became a Victoria's Secret Angel.

In 2010, Huntington-Whitely found herself splashed across all the hottest magazine covers -- including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Maxim and FHM. She was also featured in the legendary Pirelli Calendar.

Pirelli's Terry Richardson wasn't the only lensman smitten by her. Ace fashion photographer Rankin devoted an entire book to her, a volume called Ten Times Rosie.

In May 2010, Rosie's name was announced as the lead in Michael Bay's Transformers 3, replacing former hottie Megan Fox.

Bay had previously directed Rosie's Victoria's Secret advert, and was keen to bring to the franchise a woman even hotter than Megan.

By the looks of Rosie, he's succeeded. We can only stare gratefully.
