Today happens to be 12.12.12, the last of the great repeating dates to occur in our lifetimes. Bollywood stars joined their fans on Twitter to celebrate the day.

Dilip Kumar thanks fans for birthday wishes

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who celebrated his 90th birthday on December 11 with family, turned to Twitter to thank his well-wishers.

'With my brothers sisters nephews nieces and their children who have come from far and near to wish me a happy birthday!' he tweeted.

'My head bows before the Almighty in silent gratitude for the love I am getting from so many well wishers on Internet,' he added.

Meanwhile, his ancestral home in Peshawar, Pakistan, has been acquired and preserved by the provincial government as national heritage.
