The Pellaina Kothalo trio of writer-director Madan, Jagapathi Babu and Priyamani are back with the Telugu film Pravarakyudu (produced by Ganesh Kandukuri and Sudhakar Chaganti) which is scheduled for release shortly.

This is a love story and considering Madan's writing prowess one can certainly look forward to something good and different.

Madan has written some good scripts like Aa Naluguru, Pellaina Kothalo and Gunde Jhallumandi. He turned director with Pellaina Kothalo which released in 2006. It fared quite well.

It is said that Pravarakyudu has nothing much to do with the character named so in Allasani Peddanna's Swaarochisha Manu Sambhavam where Pravarakyudu, a Brahmin spurns the love of a Gandharva girl and the story is about how this damsel wins him over. Madan surely would have come out with a refreshing love story this time.

Jagapathi Babu's forte has been romantic entertainers (though he did go back to an action film Homam many years after Gaayam).

He seems to play a lecturer in this film. Pravarakyudu is Jagapathi Babu's fourth release this year after Adinetha, Bangara Babu and Siddham.

Jagapathi Babu has had a good 2008 as four films Swagatham, Kathanayakudu, Homam and Raksha were released where he proved his mettle as an actor.

Keeping Jagapathi Babu company on screen will be national award-winning artiste Priyamani and Hamsanandini.

One could expect a neat performance by the lead pair -- Jagapathi Babu-Priyamani. The humour quotient of the film is ensured by Brahmanandam, Ali and Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam.

M M Keeravani composes music for Pravarakyudu. Keeravani's Magadheera is going strong even after crossing the 100-day mark.

Pravarakyudu is shot by Surendar Reddy and edited by M R Varma.
