Sajid Nadiadwala turns director for Salman's Kick

Salman Khan has denied reports that Joker director Shirish Kunder was asked to leave his next film Kick. In fact, he clarried that Shirish chose to leave the project.

'No that's nt true . shirish left the film . He is working on sm thing else . Ho gaya clear ? Good ! Challo bye . Take care guys n nice,' he tweeted.

Now, the movie's producer Sajid Nadiadwala is all set to step behind the camera for the first time.

Shirish later tweeted why he left the project: 'Sajid Nadiadwala will be directing KICK. He had originally envisioned the project and I feel he is the best person to bring it to life. I'll continue with my efforts to make original films and bring novel stories in a mainstream format. Remakes for now do not interest me. It is easy for me to do what everyone else is doing or what is working. But I'll always choose to attempt something new with every film.'

Meanwhile, his latest film Joker has turned out to be a disaster at the box office.

Madhuri Dixit gets ready for Gulab Gang

Madhuri Dixit is quite excited about her next film Gulab Gang.

'Gulab gang looks way cool! Something for everyone...acting, dancing, song, and action sequences. Excited! Shooting starting in October. Should release in March,' she tweeted. The film will mark Ra.One director Anubhav Sinha's debut as producer.

Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar ‏got nostalgic as he started shooting for the second schedule of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in Ladakh, where he shot Lakshya 10 years ago. 'Leaving for BMB second sched. To the heavenly location called Ladakh. Mind racing back to time spent there 10 years ago, filming Lakshya,' he wrote.

Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, left Ladakh after completing the shoot for Yash Chopra's yet untitled film. 'Leavıng Pahalgham.Learnt lıfes lesson ın my forefathers land.Only beauty ıs not enuff u gotta be tough too to survıve.I wıll be Insha Allah,' he updated.

Priyanka Chopra shared the latest track called Kyon from her upcoming film Barfi!, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor.

The song has been written by Neelesh Mishra and sung by Papon and Sunidhi Chauhan.

Director Anurag Basu ‏updated that the film has got a 'U' certificate from the Censor Board: 'Just got the censor certificate, 'Burfii' is my first U certificate film.:) There is another good news today for Barfii team and fans, we got selected for Busan film festival.yeaaah!! Thanx Utv.'

Prabhu Deva is all set to walk the ramp at a charity fashion show for actress-activist Shabana Azmi's NGO Mijwan Welfare Society today.

'Frnds I'm walking d ramp today for @manishmalhotra1 at d Mijwan charity event for @azmishabana M.W.S. ..I'm doing my bit you do yours,' he tweeted.

Shraddha Kapoor ‏will also be walking the ramp tonight. 'Proud to be walking for Mijwan Welfare society tonight & showcasing the lovely Mijwan work done by the girls,' she updated.

Fashion designer Manish Malhotra ‏is busy with the rehearsals for the show. 'Finalising the music : reharsals to start soon : mijwan fashion show,' he wrote.

Dia Mirza tweeted: 'Our Mijwan show tomorrow is going to be FANTASTIC. It has to be. Too much heart in it.'

Mijwan Welfare Society works for the improvement and empowerment of villages by providing schools, roads, electricity etc. Celebrities like Imran Khan, Deepika Padukone and Karan Johar are slated to attend the do.
