PIX: Stars step out to vote for Mumbai

Bollywood stars made their way to polling booths to vote for Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) polls that took place yesterday.

Shah Rukh Khan was spotted at the Bandra booth as he cast his vote and flashed his perma-inked finger for the shutterbugs.

Dressed in a crisp white salwar kameez, Jaya Bachchan was spotted at the Juhu booth casting her vote.

No other member of the Bachchan family turned up.

Actress and activist Shabana Azmi turned up to cast her vote along with lyricist husband Javed Akhtar.

The couple flashes their fingers after casting their vote.

Anupam Kher, who bid a rather upbeat goodbye to his late father Pushkar Nath Kher, was spotted at a poling booth too.

Former Bigg Boss housemates Pooja Bedi and Shakti Kapoor caught up with each other after casting their votes.

New mums Mandira Bedi and Maanyata Dutt also stepped out to cast their votes.

Kumar Gaurav and Namrata Dutt were also up for voting at one of the city booths.

TV actress Smriti Irani, who fought the 2004 Lok Sabha elections on a BJP ticket, also arrived to cast her vote.
