PIX: Stars pay last respects to Rajkumar Hirani's father

Rajkumar Hirani's father Suresh passed away on June 3 after a prolonged illness.

The chautha ceremony were held on June 7 at an ashram in Khar, a western suburb of Mumbai.

Hirani's mother Sheela, wife Manjeet and son helped each other overcome their huge loss.

Aamir Khan, who worked with Hirani in the big blockbuster 3 Idiots, was among those who attended the chautha ceremony.

Vidya Balan had worked with Hirani in Lage Raho Munna Bhai, another big hit. 

She skipped the funeral but made sure to turn up for the prayer meet.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who has mentored Hirani and produced all his movies so far, lent a lot of support to the family.

Parineeta director Pradeep Sarkar came to the prayer meet with his wife (not in the picture) and a friend.

Anu Malik was also spotted at the chautha ceremony.

Prem Chopra arrived with wife Uma.

Rockstar director Imtiaz Ali took time off his busy schedule to attend the prayer service.
