Filmi folks attended Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's baby shower that took places yesterday at Jalsa, the Bachchan residence in a plush part of Juhu, a western Mumbai suburb.

The entrance of the bunglow was beautifully decorated with white flowers.

Dressed in Indian finery, friends and colleagues of the family poured in bearing gifts for the expecting mum. Father-to-be Abhishek Bachchan was seen at the entrance, right before the ceremony started.

The actor, who was busy shooting for Bol Bachchan in Jaipur, took a day off for the ceremony. Dad Amitabh was missing as he's in Australia, busy shooting for Hollywood film The Great Gatsby.

While Karan was in denim casuals, Bipasha dressed up in a white churidar. Bipasha has worked with the happy couple in Dhoom 3 and will be seen with Abhishek again in Abbas Mustan's soon-to-release film Players.

Abhishek's sister Shweta Nanda was beaming as she arrived for the do in a multicoloured outfit.

Shweta had flown in from Delhi, where she resides with her husband Nikhil and kids Navya Naveli and Agastya, for the do.

Former actress and entreprenuer Twinkle Khanna was clicked as she made her way to the do.

Hubby Akshay Kumar had starred with Ash last year in Action Replayy and with Amitabh Bachchan in the memorable Waqt: The Race Againt Time.

Sanjay Dutt's wife Manyata Dutt and Neelam Kothari were also present at the baby shower.

Manyata gave birth to twins -- boy Shahraan and girl Iqra in October last year.

Actress Urmila Matondkar, dressed in a beautiful coral anarkali, was seen with designer Shaina NC as they arrived for the do.

Actor Suneil Shetty's wife Mana Shetty (wearing sunshades) was also spotted at Jalsa.

Poonam Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha's wife was one of the invited guests.

The Big B and Sinha, who were rivals in their prime, were recently seen bonding at an awards function.

Hrithik Roshan's mother, Pinky Roshan represented the Roshan family at the do.

Hrithik has worked with Ash in memorable films like Jodha Akbar, Dhoom 3 and more recently Guzaarish.

Yesteryear actress Asha Parekh was also spotted at the do.

Actress Shefali Shah was at the function too.

She's acted alongside Amitabh Bachchan in husband Vipul Amrutlal Shah's hit film Waqt: The Race Against Time and Rituparno Ghosh's The Last lear.
