Bollywood actors came together for a social cause -- Support My School Telethon 2013 -- over the weekend at Yashraj Studio in Andheri, a western Mumbai suburb.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who was one of the attendees, felicitated a young girl as brand ambassador Sachin Tendulkar looked on.

The cricketer later said, 'Expression on faces of children is invaluable. I see them smile and I know we are doing fine'.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took time off from motherly duties and came out in support of the children.

She said, 'One step at a time makes a difference to one person's life and that'll bring about change'.

Kajol, mother to Nysa and Yug, was also present at the event and said, 'Education is every child's birth right. It is very important to support each and every child'.

Ayushman Khurana, who will soon be seen in Rohan Sippy's Nautanki Saala -- a buddy comedy costarring Kunal Roy Kapur, performed at the do.

Sachin teaches Kai Po Che debutant Sushant Singh Rajput a thing or two about batting right.
