Sushmita Sen enthralls listeners of 92.7 Big FM in Mumbai on Wednesday.

The former beauty queen-turned actress has been chosen to select the Miss Universe 2010 representative from India through the 'I AM She' contest and has tied up with an FM station for it.

Elsewhere in Mumbai, Rahul Bose and Raima Sen pose as they arrive for a special screening of their movie, The Japanese Wife.

The movie releases on Friday.

The Japanese Wife's director Aparna Sen arrives with her daughter Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey.

Shabana Azmi made it to her friend Aparna's movie despite a leg injury.

Also in Mumbai, Akshay Kumar arrives for the opening of Abbhinnay Acting Academy on Thursday while veteran actor Paintal looks on.

The event was hosted by veteran actor Pankaj Dheer (popularly known for his character Karna in the hit series Mahabharat), his brother Satluj Dheer and Sunita Hariharan.

Akshay and Pankaj Dheer's friendship goes back right from Akshay's first film. They share a strong and emotional bond and out of this emotional bond Akshay willing agreed to inaugurate the academy. They have worked in six movies together including Ikke pe Ikka and Mr Bond'.

Meanwhile, Nagma is spotted at the premiere of the Bhojpuri remake of the film Don.
