Poonam Dhillon's filmi birthday cake

Yesteryear actress Poonam Dhillion, who turns 49 today, ushered in her birthday last night.

The former Bigg Boss inmate threw a party for her friends and associates at the restaurant Veda in Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel in South Mumbai.

The birthday cake was very interesting -- it was lined with a film reel-like snaphots of the actress from her younger days and had a wine bottle made out of chocolate on top of it. Now that's called icing on the cake!

The musically inclined Imaad Shah debuted as a music composer in his forthcoming film, 404. At the film's music launch, the actor performed with his band The Pulp Society at PVR Cinemas in Juhu, a wetern suburb of Mumbai.

Proud parents Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak-Shah were present alongside the young actor, and his siblings Heeba and Vivaan.

Actress Tisca Chopra, who co-stars in the film, and filmmaker-turned-actor Nishikant Kamat, turned up in an eye-popping electric blue number for the event.

The film is a psychological thriller and is slated to release on May 12.

Yana Gupta, who's back on the radar after a near-successful stint on Jhalak Dikhla Ja and a sizzling item number in Lara Dutta's home production Chalo Dilli, was present at Phoenix Mills in Lower Parel, South Mumbai to promote the film.

The Czech beauty danced to her Laila O Laila song from the film and obliged onlookers.

Co-stars Sanjay Suri and Juhi Chawla arrive at the music launch of their upcoming film I Am at Balthazar in Juhu. The film is directed by Onir.
