On World Compassion Day, Bollywood stars attended a function where the Indian chapter of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) was launched in the presence Tibetan spiritual leader, Dalai Lama. Some of them tweeted about their experience:

Anupam Kher: 'Presented a copy of my book 'The Best Thing About You Is YOU' to Dalai Lama. Listening to Him is a Blessing. :)' he tweeted with a picture of them together.

Raveena Tandon: 'Blessed by his holiness The Dalai Lama on Guru purab.. What an Amazing day!!His Holiness,with anil and me.. #blessed' 

She added: 'He,s too cute..he is talking on compassion towards animals and then jokingly sez but his "relationship with mosquitoes is not good!!'

Riteish Deshmukh: 'Blessed to listen to His Holiness Dalai Lama, at the event celebrating World Compassion Day. Classy, Elegant n thought provoking.'

Ayesha Takia Azmi: 'His holiness The Dalai lama spoke about the cause closest 2 my heart,was an honour to witness it n b present.'
 
Filmmaker Pritish Nandy, who organised the event, wrote: 'An afternoon with the Dalai Lama! There was so much joy and magic in the air.'

Thespian Dilip Kumar, who was advised to stay in by his doctors, has finally recovered from his week-long fever. The actor is now looking forward to watching Aamir Khan's latest film Talaash.

'It is good to be well enough to go out in this bracing weather. Went for a drive with Saira last night. I was kept indoors for a whole week due to a touch of fever. A strong Pathan cannot be kept indoors for long,' he tweeted.

'I am looking forward to attending the opening night of Aamir's (@aamir_khan's) new film, tomorrow, Insha'Allah,' he added.

The veteran actor will turn 90 on December 11.

Television game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), which first aired in 2000, has completed 500 episodes.

Thanking his fans, its host Amitabh Bachchan tweeted: 'Oh ! And amidst all the rush I forgot to mention .. at last evenings KBC shoot, they came up and told me it was my 500th episode !!! 500 th episode of KBC for me !! Gosh !! .. this is incredible ! Never realised it had been so long ... thank you all for the love !!'

Son Of Sardaar has crossed the Rs 100 crore landmark and its actor-producer Ajay Devgn turned to Twitter to thank his fans.
