Bollywood stars condemn US gurudwara shootout

Bollywood stars condemned the shooting that killed seven people at a Sikh gurdwara in the Wisconsin, USA and also tweeted their prayers for the victims and their families. 

Akshay Kumar tweeted: 'People on Earth still need to learn to get along. First the Colorado Batman shooting and now this! My heartfelt prayers for the victims and families of the Sikh temple shooting in Wisconsin.'

Mandira Bedi wrote: 'My prayers for all the victims and their families who were affected by the crazed gunmans rampage at the Oak Creek Gurudwara in Wisconsin.'

Anupam Kher ‏also tweeted his condolences: 'Attack & Killing of innocent people in a Gurudwara in America is a sad & cowardly act. My heartfelt condolence to the families of victims.'

Shabana ‏Azmi wrote: 'We condemn d loss of innocent lives at Sikh Gurdwara Wisconsin and pray for the swift recovery of injured.When will this madness end?'

Amitabh Bachchan tweeted: 'Not in a mood to tweet any more after learning of the shooting inside Gurudwara .. let us all pray !!'

Ayesha Takia Azmi ‏ wrote: 'So beyond tragic 2 hear news of shooting in Sikh temple in Wisconsin!!wtf is happening in this world.SAD n depressing.pray 4 victims.'

Musician Zakir Hussain ‏tweeted: 'It is a horrible day for the whole Indian community, my heart goes out to my Sikh brothers and sisters.'

Dabangg 2 to release this Christmas

The shooting for Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Dabangg 2 is halfway through. 

Director Arbaaz Khan updated: 'Well for all the Chulbul Pandey fans.. DABANGG 2 is almost 60% complete, we resume shoot after the promotion and release of EK THA TIGER !!!'

And the film will hit the theatres on December 21. 'DABANGG 2 is slated for an end of the year Christmas release.. 21st Dec 2012,' he added.

Dabangg 2 also stars Vinod Khanna and Prakash Raj.

The first dialogue promo of Akshay Kumar and Sonkashi Sinha starrer Joker is out.

Director Shirish Kunder shared the trailer on Twitter. 

The film also stars Minisha Lamba and Shreyas Talpade, and is scheduled to release on August 31.

Jism 2 may have not clicked with the critics but the film is getting a good response at the box-office and director Pooja Bhatt is in a mood to party. '#Jism2 collections in Punjab,Delhi&UP are higher than Murder2 AND Jannat2 over 3 days! Party time,' Bhatt tweeted.

Meanwhile, Neil Nitin Mukesh ‏is currently busy with look tests for Bejoy Nambiar's next film David. 'Day 2 for the work shop of DAVID. @nambiarbejoy has got me hooked for sure. Looking forward. #DAVID starts on the 10th of this month in ooty. Currently look tests and workshop held by atul are on,' he updated.

Shah Rukh Khan is spending more time with family and watching Olympics. 'Awesome: staying up with my son & watch Usain Bolt run faster than the speed of thought. They stumble that run too fast no longer relevant,' he updated.

Whereas director Abhishek Kapoor, who celebrates his birthday today, thanked everyone for wishes: 'Thank u so much for the wishes u beautiful people.. I'm overwhelmed.'

Abhishek Bachchan, who is in London at the moment, met Chelsea player Ashley Cole at Olympics. 
'Was great to catch up with @TheRealAC3 at the stadium.Chelsea in da house!@chelseafc,' he tweeted with the picture.

Prabhu Deva, on the other hand, shared a picture of him with choreographer Vishnu Deva. 'Meet my frnd @ivishnudeva, a brilliant choreographer. He did 2 songs in my film Rowdy Rathore :Dhadhang n Pritam Pyare,' he wrote with the picture.
