Chitrangada Singh arrives for the premiere of her film Yeh Saali Zindagi in Mumbai, on Wednesday.

 

The movie, produced by Prakash Jha and directed by Sudhir Mishra, releases this Friday.

Elsewhere in Mumbai, director Karan Johar poses with a copy of the book, The Dialogue of Pyaasa by Nasreen Munni Kabir.

Kabir's latest book narrates the making of Guru Dutt's evergreen masterpiece Pyaasa.

The actor-director's 1957 film is considered a cult classic and the book takes a detailed look at both the man and his work.

Kabir had earlier helmed In Search of Guru Dutt, a three-part documentary on the legendary Indian actor, writer, director and producer to mark his 25th death Anniversary.

The Dialogue of Pyaasa presents a detailed look at the film's making with its famous dialogues and evergreen songs.

Birthday comes early

Actress Urmila Matondkar celebrated her birthday one day earlier on the sets of Chak Dhoom Dhoom Team Challenge.

Urmila, who celebrates her birthday on February 4th was taken by a pleasant surprise when the Chak Dhoom Dhoom team and her co-judges Terrence Lewis and Jaaved Jaffrey brought in her birthday with a lovely cake and sang birthday wishes for her on the sets of the show.

Not only this, the fabulous fatakas of the Ukrainan group from the Bemisaal 12 decided to surprise her in a very special way, by dancing to all her hit numbers right from Lakdi Ki Kaati to Chhamma Chhamma.
