Raja Sen in Mumbai

The seat of his pyjamas say Dabangg in Hindi, as if he has a brave behind.

She's left behind arts and crafts, her new hobby is hunting.

And they're going wild.

The revolution sparked off by Band Baaja Baaraat manifests itself strongly in the latest Yash Raj Films trailer for Ishaqzaade, directed by BBB writer and Do Dooni Chaar director Habib Faisal, and starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.

Arjun, Boney Kapoor's son, here looks a scraggly youth, a bearded character with a nice grin and a slightly weak dialogue delivery. Think Gabbar Singh, freshly out of college. Parineeti, who was the only good thing about Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, seems suitably feisty.

What really works for the trailer is the feel of it all. Of the lawlessness, the handguns and the brashness of this Bonnie-in-a-chunni and Clyde-in-chappals combination.

Faisal's great with local flavours and this UP-based romance/actioner looks set to be quite a ride. The music's by Amit Trivedi, and there seems to be much room for both thumkas and tamanchas here.

The trailer has lots of running, cocking of guns, dancing, and, whenever rebuked by the girl, a pout from the boy. This could genuinely be fun.
