Here's what your favourite Bollywood celebrities are tweeting.

Following a court-backed settlement with a Delhi-based Hindutva group, publisher Penguin Books India has withdrawn American author Wendy Doniger's latest book The Hindus.

Several celebrities turned to Twitter to voice their opinions:

Aditi Rao Hydari: 'Wendy doniger's book The Hindus is truly fantastic.'

Sonam Kapoor: 'Hinduism's defense will not come from insecure fanatics. It will come from practicing the values of Hinduism. Be the change you want to see.'

Shruti Seth: 'I'm sure Wendy Doniger & Salman Rushdie will have a long chat over the idiocy of religious extremism. How does 1 challenge the accuracy of historical/religious texts? I have 1 question "WERE YOU THERE BACK THEN? HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS TRUE?"'

Suparn Verma: 'So reading Wendy Doniger will wipe out Hinduism from the face of the planet! Time to give Hinduism some B12 & iron injections.'

Shobhaa De: 'Hinduism is much bigger than a book. Our growing intolerance, much smaller.'

Shekhar Kapur: 'Faith should not be known as an 'ism' or it becomes Faithism. Faith is open ended, vast, boundaryless, immense. An 'ism is defined, limited.'

Director Imtiaz Ali's next film Highway will be premiered at the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival and its lead actress Alia's father Mahesh Bhatt says she has a unique connection with the city.

'Alia Bhatt has a unique connection with Berlin it's just incredible that her film Highway is premiering in Berlin. Many years ago, in 1929 in fact, Alia's grandmother was born in Berlin. Yes, she's German. Sadly she had to leave Berlin in 1937. Alia's great grandfather, was running an underground newspaper against Hitler. He was found out and imprisoned for two years. So Alia's grand mother & her mother walked across the border to Czechoslovakia & FOUND SANCTUARY FROM PERSECUTION AS REFUGEES IN ENGLAND!' the 65-year-old filmmaker tweeted.

'The spirit of rebellion which is embedded in Highway is a part of Alia's legacy. It comes from her great grandfather. Karl Hoelzer , Alia's great grandfather dared to take on the Nazi regime in his own small way and paid a very heavy price for it. All art and all cinema of rebellion is intended to ignite rage against the oppressor. I'm certain Imtiaz Ali's HIGHWAY will do that!! BUT LITTLE DID ALIA's GRANDMA GERTRUDE KNOW that her tragic story would have a happy ending. All forces of oppression will be defeated by the indomitable spirit of human kind and life, not death, will have the last word,' he added.

The film, which also stars Randeep Hooda, releases on February 21.
