Paris JacksonMichael Jackson's teenage daughter Paris is recovering after a suicide attempt.

Paris, 15, cut her wrists with a meat cleaver and took as many as 20 ibuprofen tablets before calling suicide hotline, which immediately called 911 on June . Paris also left a suicide note, the TMZ reported.

"Paris is physically fine and getting appropriate medical attention. Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are," said Sandra Ribera, the attorney for Paris's legal co-guardian Katherine.

"It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you. Please respect her privacy and the family's privacy," Ribera said.

Jackson's fourth death anniversary is on June 25. Paris posted some cryptic tweets, including, "I wonder why tears are salty?"... and Beatles song "yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here

to stay" on Wednesday morning.

People magazine cites family sources to claim that Paris was fighting lengthy depression. "Paris has been very, very depressed for a while. She's been throwing fits and tantrums, kicking and screaming and cutting herself," says the source.

"She misses her father greatly. She was the center of Michael's world and it's all different now. She says that she is lonely and that she doesn't feel loved."

Paris, who has recently been connecting with her mother, Debbie Rowe, was apparently angry at not being allowed to go to a Marilyn Manson concert. A second source said, "Paris is very unhappy and alone. She's living in this place and there's security and uncles and all these hangers-on. And she's alone. That's one of the reasons she reached out to Debbie Rowe -- she wants a family, she's missed her dad."
