Nadhir Shah film

Nadhir Shah, who made a successful directorial debut with Amar Akbar Anthony, is ready with his second venture.

In a funny note posted on his Facebook page, the mimicry artiste-turned-filmmaker announced his next project.

'We plan to start the shooting of our next project soon, titled Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan. As the story is the main character in this film, we have decided to cast one of our script writers as the hero.

'We tried the original Hrithik Roshan, but since he doesn’t have the fitness and beauty to do this role, we have made Vishnu Unnikrishnan as our hero.'

Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Bibin George, who scripted the blockbuster Amar Akbar Anthony, have written the screenplay for this one as well.

Nivin Pauly returns with Jacobinte Swargarajyam

Jacobinte Swargarajyam

Vineeth Sreenivasan had launched Nivin Pauly in his Malarvady Arts Club and then given him a makeover with Thattathin Marayathu.

Last year, the duo teamed up for G Prajith’s Oru Vadakkan Selfie, which was scripted by Vineeth.

Vineeth is turning writer-director once again, with Jacobinte Swargarajayam, which hits the screens on April 8.

"Jacobinte Swargarajyam is perhaps unlike our earlier films in the sense that it is an intense and more serious take on family and relationships," Nivin Pauly says.

Renji Panicker plays Jacob, Nivin's father. The film is shot extensively in Dubai.
