Imran Khan kickstarted the inaugural lap of BSA Hercules India [ Images ] Cyclothon -- Mumbai [ Images ] 2011 edition at the Bandra Kurla Complex in western suburbs of Mumbai on Sunday, April 24.

Over 6,000 cycling enthusiasts participated for a greener tomorrow, animal welfare and paediatric cardiac care as the event strived to raise money for these causes.

Nicole Faria [ Images ], Miss India Earth 2011, F1 racer Karun Chandok and politicians Milind Deora [ Images ] and Priya Dutt [ Images ] were also present at the event.

Organised jointly by Sport18, the sports marketing division of Network18 group and TI Cycles, the cyclothon has been to Delhi [ Images ], Pune, Bangalore and Chandigarh in the last 12 months.
