Aishwarya Rai admitted to hospital

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was admitted to Seven Hills hospital, northwest Mumbai [ Images ], late on Monday night.

She was accompanied by husband Abhishek and pa-in-law Amitabh Bachchan [ Images ].

The actress is expected to give birth any time now, and preparations are on in full swing in the Bachchan home.

While Abhishek tweeted 'all doing well,' referring to the health of Ash and her baby, Amitabh posted a longer tweet: 'A day of expectation .. but another day ! The Lord has his ways and they are most special .. we wait !!'

Ash and her family had visited the hospital on Sunday night to complete some formalities. Have a look at the pictures here.
