Does Omkara offend women? August 02, 2006 It may be too soon to tell, but initial box office reports indicate Omkara is not doing too well in India, despite a near unanimous critical thumbs-up. Reasons for this could be the film's Adult rating, which cuts down its appeal among families, and the hardcore Uttar Pradesh dialect alienating a large part of the audience. Outside of this, the film's dark end is being deemed too shocking for Indian audiences and women are reportedly complaining about the movie's bad language. What do you think?
