Ramya weds Krishna Vamsi Vijayalaxmi | June 11, 2003 14:54 IST Actress Ramya Krishna wed Telugu director Krishna Vamsi in a quiet ceremony at a Hyderabad temple today. Long known as the glamour queen in Telugu films, Ramya had worked with Vamsi in Chandralekha. Ramya is well-known in the Tamil film industry and has several Hindi and Malayalam films to her credit. She will now appear in the Telugu film Dondu Donde with Srihari and in a special song with N T Rama Rao Jr in Simhadari. Vamsi is known as a hard-hitting director, with films like Anthapuram and Khadgam, to his credit. He recently debuted in Hindi with producer Boney Kapoor's Shakti -- The Power. The film starred Karisma Kapoor in the lead; other stars included Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Deepti Naval and Aishwarya Rai in a special appearance. Vamsi will soon commence shooting for his fantasy flick, Sri Anjaneyam, with Nitin, Aditi Agarwal and Arjun in the lead.
