It’s been a year since the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport set foot in the Indian market and the Japanese car maker is celebrating the occasion with an anniversary edition.

The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Anniversary Edition offers extra features such as a touch screen multimedia infotainment system with GPS navigation, rear view camera, rear spoiler, body coloured bumpers, mud guards and an Anniversary Edition decal.

The Pajero Sport Anniversary Edition also offers super select 4WD system which enables the driver the choose 4×2 mode to increase the fuel efficiency or three different 4×4 modes depending on the terrain.

The SUV is assembled at the Hindustan Motors’ Tiruvallur plant near Chennai which will also see the assembly of the Isuzu MU-7 and D-Max by the end of this year.

Power comes from a 2.5 litre diesel engine, which is capable of producing 178 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission sends the power to all the four wheels.

“Pajero Sport buyers are bound to feel the difference. The Anniversary Edition will enable the buyers to celebrate the legacy with style,” Hindustan Motors Managing Director and CEO Uttam Bose said.
