Stock picks for August 13

The market has given up most of its gains to end almost flat.

Banks, capital goods, FMCG all remained positive while consumer durables, pharma, IT and PSUs ended negative.

Volume registered an increase (read as turnover) while the undertone was cautious.

Sensex --Last Close: 3889.41 | Support: 3759, 3651 | Resistance: 3895, 4028

Trading Range -- The Sensex opened at 3907.03, moved up to an intra-day high of 3938.91, declined to an intra-day low of 3879.35 and closed at 3889.41.

Review/Outlook -- The Sensex has hinted at short-term weakness by giving a downward "key" reversal (bearish intra-day pattern) on slightly higher volume while a range bound movement seems to be on the cards.

Videocon International --Last Close: 36.25 | Support: 28, 19 | Resistance: 40, 58

Trading Range -- The scrip opened at 34.30, moved up to an intra-day high of 36.90, declined to an intra-day low of 33.55 and closed at 36.25.

Review/Outlook -- The scrip has reflected strength by posting a 8-month high and with the oscillators looking better, a further upside seems possible.

Satyam --Last Close: 196.90 | Support: 173, 149 | Resistance: 199, 224

Trading Range -- The scrip opened at 204.25, moved up to an intra-day high of 205.40, declined to an intra-day low of 195.90 and closed at 196.90.

Review/Outlook -- The scrip has entered a short-term downtrend and with the oscillators signalling a sell, a further downside cannot be ruled out.

Aurobindo Pharma --Last Close: 382.40 | Support: 350, 317 | Resistance: 395, 432

Trading Range -- The scrip opened at 396.00, moved up to an intra-day high of 398.50, declined to an intra-day low of 382.00 and closed at 382.40.

Review/Outlook -- The scrip has reflected weakness by closing below a demand line and with the oscillators looking negative, further depreciation seems to be on the cards.

Adani Exports --Last Close: 199.45 | Support: 195, 184 | Resistance: 223, 260

Trading Range -- The scrip opened at 195.00, moved up to an intra-day high of 203.50, declined to an intra-day low of 195.00 and closed at 199.45.

Review/Outlook -- The scrip has reflected strength by sustaining its positive momentum and with the indicators looking strong, a further upside seems to be on the cards.
