Sundaram Finance chairman passes away

T S Santhanam, founder and chairman of Sundaram Finance Ltd and vice-chairman of TVS Group of companies, died in Chennai on Friday morning, company sources said.

He was 93. Santhanam had been ailing for the last couple of months, they said.

He was the son of T V Sundaram Iyengar, founder of TVS Group of companies.
