India's projected growth rate may be marginally affected if there is a bad monsoon, as it will affect agricultural output, said Suresh Tendulkar, chairman of the prime minister's Economic Advisory Council on Monday.

He was addressing a business meeting in New Delhi.

Tendulkar also said high bank-lending rates continue to be a worry for Asia's third-largest economy, which was hit hard by both the sluggish demand at home and the global slump.
