Reliance Communications Ventures Ltd, the flagship company of Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, launched on Monday another lifetime free incoming offer with a 10-year validity. This is in addition to its existing 15-year lifetime offer launched on December 28.

The second lifetime scheme is available for pre-paid users on recharging with a voucher of Rs 795, while the company is also mulling of extending it to post-paid users, RCoVL President (Wireless) S P Shukla said at a press conference.

The recharge voucher of Rs 795 -- at present available only on e-recharge -- is being pre-loaded with talktime worth Rs 25.

For customers, who would like to make outgoing calls can recharge with top-up vouchers starting from Rs 10.

The company will be billing local outgoing calls at Rs 1.99 and Rs 2.99 for STDs.

RCoVL, which was formerly Reliance Infocomm, has retained the earlier lifetime validity option of Rs 995, which has a 15-year validity.

According to a recent clarification issued by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, a lifetime validity offer should be valid till the license period of the mobile operator. RCoVL license expires in 2021 and the schemes will be valid till that date.
