The compnay also plans to increase its staff to 500 by 2008 from the current 40.
"The visualisation and simulation industry is expected to touch $78 billion in 2008 from $50 billion in 2004. We see many industries taking up solutions offered by this industry for productivity.
Today we are a 40-member corporation. We plan to increase the manpower to 250 by the end of 2006 and 500 by 2008," chief executive officer, Paras L S Sethi said.
"In India alone, the market is estimated at about $4 billion," he added. However, Kwick Soft will initially be focussing on international markets like US, UK, Germany, Middle East. It is currently in discussion with a couple of German engineering firms to offer its solutions.
Kwick Soft, which started its operations last year, opened its US operations today and plans to commence its operations in Germany, UK and the Middle East during the year.
Though India would be big market, currently it is not a tier-1 manufacturer. "Hope in the next few years, it may become one such and during that period we hope to get good orders," he said.
The company is planning to garner revenue of about $12-16 billion by 2007 and about $36 billion by 2008-09. "We hope this is an achievable target if we look at the market potential," he added.
