These products would help the company grow faster in the country, Canon president Alan Grant told a press conference in Chennai on Wednesday.
The company had targeted Rs 1,000-crore (Rs 10 billion) turnover during current fiscal and the new products would help achieve this.
The thrust areas would be digital printing, digital camera and customer relationship segments, he said.
The digital camera segment was growing by over 25 per cent and was expected to grow by 50 per cent by 2010, he said.
Digital printing area would increase the company's turnover substantially as the world trend was moving towards this system from offset printing, he said.
The southern region contributed 30 per cent of the turnover of the company, he said.
