IT consulting firm Bristlecone plans to hire 150 people this year and aims to grow its business by over 50 per cent by providing solutions to customers across the world.
The United States-based Bristlecone, which specialises in supply chain management and SAP implementation, is tapping customers in India and the Asia-Pacific region, while refining processes of clients in the United States.
"We are aiming revenues of over $30 million in 2005-06. We are planning to close the current year in the $20 million range," Bristlecone Chief Executive Officer Padman Ramankutty said here.
Bristlecone earns nearly 60 per cent of its revenues from the US, while India and Asia-Pacific business is growing at a steady pace. Last year, the firm added about 100 people to take its total strength to about 700 professionals. "We are getting good traction in the US," Ramankutty said, adding, the firm has improved productivity by upgrading infrastructure in many US companies.
He said German software maker SAP AG has judged Bristlecone for the fastest ERP implementation in 54 days.
"A lot of small and medium enterprises in India are going for ERP solutions. We are implementing it at many customers," he added.
