Bikanervala to open 26 outlets abroad

Looking to increase its footprint globally, traditional Indian cuisine chain Bikanervala is planning to open 26 outlets in North America, Canada, UAE and Nepal by this year end.

The food chain recently opened its fourth outlet in Kathmandu in Nepal. Bikanervala has 18 outlets in India with the latest ones coming up in Gurgaon and Bareilly.

Focussing on promoting India and Indian heritage, culture and cuisine worldwide, Bikanervala is one of the leading food manufacturers to have customised Indian food.

Besides India and Nepal, the company also has presence in US, Canada, UK, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the Middle-East. It has maintained a steady export growth rate of more than 200 per cent for the past two years.

Elaborating on the North America and Canada outlets, Agarwal said North America would have 'A Complete Sweet Shop' and the latter will get a restaurant.

About its Angan restaurants in Nepal, he said, the outlet serves all recipes of ethnic Indian taste from breakfast to dinner from North to South.

''Indian tourists thronging Kathmandu also fell at home in Bikanervala's Angan with 100 per cent pure vegetarian food items in a comfortable family atmosphere,'' he added.
