Reserve Bank of India's offices in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai will remain open on Thursday but commercial and cooperative banks will remain closed to public on account of half-yearly closing of their accounts.

There will be no clearing at the city clearing house, national clearing centres at Nariman Point and Bandra-Kurla complex and SBI MICR cheque processing centre, Worli, RBI said in a release in Mumbai on Wednesday.

The settlement of MICR cheques presented today will be done on Friday, the release added.
