Last updated on: December 20, 2012 18:55 IST

Answer these questions and find out just how good you are with relative pronouns in English grammar! Illustration: Uttam Ghosh

'The man who you just spoke to is my father.'

'This is the house that my grandfather built.'

'Whose clothes are lying strewn across the floor?'

The words italicised in the above sentences are all relative pronouns, a type of pronoun that introduces a relative clause referring to some antecedent (whom, which, where, when, and why are other examples, in addition to the ones above).

Fill in the blanks for each sentence in the following pages with the appropriate relative pronoun.

Answers are provided upon submission of results on each page and you can draw your own conclusions about your performance!
