Blood red motifs and stunning creations in blacks, whites and reds defined Krishna Mehta's latest collection at Lakme Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2012. Here are some stunning images from her show.

Veteran designer Krishna Mehta showcased her collection on Day 3 of Lakme Fashion Week. The line that wafted from blacks to whites and then eventually reds was one of the most interesting lines of the day.

While some outfits were quite elaborate others such as this one worn by Tamara Moss stuck to the basics.

The designer saw this collection as a blend of 'the spirit of today and Indian culture, championing the skill and craftsmanship of artisans'. Reha Sukheja in one such outfit.

Blood red motif splashed across a plain backdrop seemed to be the trend this season. Mitali Ranorey models a white sari with red flowers.

The red flower motifs continued in various forms in the dresses to follow, like this one, for instance.

Eventually, the spectrum moved entirely to reds. Vaishali Ramaswamy models one such outfit.
