Akshay, Neha, Evelyn: Stars shine at Jewellery Week!

Here's a look at the celebrities who've graced the runway on days One and Two of India International Jewellery Week 2013, currently underway in Mumbai.

Each year, the biggest names in Indian jewellery come together to showcase their finely crafted pieces at India International Jewellery Week.

In the following pages we bring you highlights from the first two days of the 2013 showings, scheduled to last from August 5 to August 8, featuring stars and of course, plenty of bling.

We start off with Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara co-stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, who stepped out together to promote both their forthcoming movie and jewellery by Gitanjali. While Akshay sported a gangster-style gold chain and pathani, Sonakshi was a vision in matching diamond earrings and a necklace teamed with a purple gown.

Monica Bedi shed her inhibitions to pose seductively at the same showing, wearing a pale pink-gold lehenga and diamond necklace.

TV actress Shweta Kawatra modelled some delicate earrings and rings while wearing a full-length ethnic jacket over a kurta and churidaars.

Singer Alka Yagnik donned a yellow gold statement bracelet, cocktail ring and earrings along with a neon anarkali.

IIJW ambassador Sonam Kapoor was a red carpet delight when she inaugurated the event in this deep blue satin gown and stunning diamond necklace.

Looking every inch an Indian goddess in her red fishtail lehenga, Mugdha Godse was the showstopper for Apala jewellery, wearing a heavy ethnic haar in yellow gold, dotted with gemstones.

Bridal offerings from Shobha Shringar included this polki raani haar with intricate earrings, bangles, imposing nose and finger rings and a maang tikka, worn by Mahima Chaudhry.

B-Town starlet Huma Qureshi strutted her stuff for Auro Gold in a unique lapel-shaped necklace of uncut diamonds.

Former beauty queen and actress Pooja Kumar also wore a gold hasli necklace and enamel earrings from Auro Gold.

At Gitanjali's second showing on Day Two, Neha Dhupia stepped out in a bridal kundan set comprising maatha patti, necklace, earrings, rings, bangles and cummerbund.

Looking stunning in a floral ruby and diamond set from Nirav Modi, seen here is model Lisa Haydon.

Agni ambassador Amrita Rao was all smiles as she stepped out in a gold enameled ruby, emerald and diamond peacock-inspired set for the brand.

Reality star Pooja Misrra was spotted at the Jewel Trendz showing in a plunging blue gown and necklace comprising three rows of pearls with a fan-shaped floral diamond pendant.

Bong beauty Rituparna Sengupta closed the Jewel Trendz collection in this dazzling collar of yellow and white diamonds, kada, earrings and ring.

The sexy Evelyn Sharma played muse for Gehna, donning a ravishing pearl and polki rani haar, diamond choker, bangles and statement rings.

South Indian stunner Kajal Aggarwal looked like royalty in a deep blue number complemented by a triple curved diamond necklace and pear shaped danglers from jeweller Moni Agarwal.

Agarwal also offered up something for the men, with the strapping Rana Daggubati posing in this satlada haar or seven-strand necklace.

Another satlada haar was spotted on Bollywood newcomer Taapsee Pannu, along with a diamond and emerald choker, matching earrings, a jhoomer for hair and haath phool on each hand.

And finally we have the reigning Miss India Earth Sobhita Dhulipala who was part of the Derewala show, modelling a giant rani haar that sported a huge pendant decorated with a Krishna-Radha painting at the end of a gold and emerald chain.
