Pradeep Lodha is all for diversity in food.

He says: "Breakfast is best in the south-- idli, vada.

"Lunch is best in Punjab/Rajasthan -- tandoori items and dal baati.

"Evening snacks are best from Maharashtra/Gujarat -- vada pav, sev pav, dhokla etc.

"Dinner is best in Madhya Pradesh -- roti-sabzi, rice."

Bhalchandra Bhandarkar recommended a list of places in Mumbai:

If you wish to try food either you should try

  • Rama Nayak's Boarding next Matunga railway station
  • Anand Bhavan at King's Circle
  • Mahesh Lunch Home in Fort for non-veg.

These places are eternally full which speaks volumes for them, he says.
