The results for the All India Engineering Entrance Exam 2012 will be announced on June 15.
The official website for the All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) has announced that the results for its exam that was held on April 29 this year will be declared on or before June 15, 2012.
Students can access their results on aieee.nic.in on or before June 15.
While the online AIEEE examination took place on May 7, 12, 19 and 26, the offline examination was held on April 29, 2012.
Over 11 lakh students appeared for the exam this year.
AIEEE is an all-India examination organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Introduced in the year 2002, performance in the competitive test helps class 12 students qualify admission to various under-graduate engineering and architecture courses in institutes accepting the AIEEE score.
Among the institutes accepting AIEEE scores include the 5 Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), namely Indian Institute of Technology- Allahabad; Indian Institute of Technology and Management-Gwalior; Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur; Indian Institute of Information Technology Design & Manufacturing Kancheepuram and Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirapalli and the 30 National Institutes of Technology (NITs).
Candidates who appear for the exam are provided with an All India Rank (AIR) and a State Rank (SR).
