Pandya launches BJP campaign in Ellisbridge

Haren Pandya, a former Gujarat minister who was denied a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket to re-contest the assembly election from his Ellisbridge constituency, on Wednesday launched the party's campaign from the area.

According to Amit Shah, campaign in-charge of the constituency, Pandya toured Ellisbridge along with BJP candidate Bhavin Seth.

Pandya had met Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his deputy Lal Kishenchand Advani in New Delhi recently and expressed his desire to campaign for the party.
