This was Kings XI Punjab's second big run chase in a row after they had successfully hunted down a huge target of 206 against two-time champions Chennai Super Kings in their opening match of the tournament.

Against Rajasthan, Punjab looked to be out of the contest after losing two early wickets.

Virender Sehwag failed to fire with the bat and was dismissed for two and Wriddhiman Saha also fell for the same score to leave Punjab in deep trouble.
