Spotted: 'God of Cricket' Tendulkar in Mussoorie

Last updated on: January 9, 2013 16:26 IST

Reader Kshitij Sharma sent us this photograph.

'I had the pleasure of meeting the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar in Landour, Mussoorie. Sachin landed in Landour immediately after announcing his retirement from international cricket.

He was every bit the gentleman I had imagined him to be, extremely courteous and calm. We spent some quality time over lunch and later in the evening I got to watch the India-Pakistan Twenty20 match with him in the hotel lobby. It truly was a surreal experience I will always cherish,' writes Kshitij.

After announcing retirement from One-Day Internationals last month, Tendulkar headed straight for hill station Mussoorie in Uttarakhand, where he celebrated Christmas and the New Year.
