A five-member security inspection team, led by police official Yashovardhan Azad (center), from India reviewed security arrangements in the Karachi cricket stadium on Monday ahead of the Indian team's scheduled tour to Pakistan in January.

The security team, comprising Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and police officials, reached Lahore on Sunday.

The delegation after reviewing arrangements will hold final talks with Pakistani officials in Lahore.

The delegation is also visiting the hotels in different cities where the Indian team would stay.

The Indian team is scheduled to play three Tests in Lahore, Faisalabad and Karachi and ODIs in Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan and Karachi.

Although the Indian government has approved the tour, Azad said the security delegation would visit venues and meet Pakistan government officials to discuss the security arrangements.
