Ian Bell's [ Images ] maiden Test double hundred (235) in the fourth Test against India [ Images ] at The Oval took him to top of the list of leading batsmen in Test cricket in 2011. The knock eclipsed his previous Test best --?199, against South Africa [ Images ] at Lord's in 2008.
Bell also reached another landmark during his innings -- 5, 000 Test runs, as England [ Images ] won the Test by a comprehensive innings and eight runs and swept the series 4-0, their first over India in 37 years, since winning 3-0 in 1974.
